Upverter Named Canada's Top 10 Up-And-Coming Technology Company

6 November 2014

Upverter has been selected as one of Canada's Top 10 Up-and-Coming Technology Companies by PriceWaterhouseCoopers today. To be selected, PwC deemed that they must have demonstrated "sustainability, budding success and potential as the next big thing."

"It's really an honour to have been recognized amongst so many great startups in Canada," said Michael Woodworth, Upverter CIO. "Particularly for such a technology-focused venture, it can be hard to communicate the value of what our team has managed to deliver these last three years. Events such as this are instrumental in getting the word out."

Upverter was previously recognized for innovation as being one of Canada's Top 20 Hottest Innovative Companies by the Canadian Innovation Exchange in November 2013.

Upverter has recently released a new version of their next-generation Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software, which hardware engineers use to design and layout circuit boards. They are distinguished by being the only web-based solution, available for Mac, compatible with the most number of EDA file formats, and by featuring integrated design review, issues management, version control, and a shared library containing over 1.4 million electronic components.
