If you have ever used a humane catch and release mouse trap (http://www.victorpest.com/resource/images/havahart/products/large/BM333-4_2.jpg) you may have forgotten to check the trap in time to release. So this design is my wifi mouse trap notifier. It uses the esp8266 module and a hall effect magnetic sensor powered by a coin cell to determine when the mouse enters one of the live trap and brings a magnet close to the sensor. The code on the esp8266 will send a msg to my iPhone.
