In terms of the deck size, CCS Complete Skateboard offers two options including the 7.0 - 7.5 inches for kids and 7.75 - 8.25 inches for technical skateboarders. 

From my experience as well as what is suggested by SkateAdvisors, newcomers to skateboarding should choose a wider board for better balance. 

POWELL PERALTA FLIGHT

If the previous skateboard is quite fragile, this Powell product with a deck made of maple and fiberglass will ensure durability. Even when you are a heavy rider, you won’t be able to break this board easily. 

In exchange for durability, customers have to spend a significant amount of money compared to the average to own this product. Similar to the first complete skateboard, this product is not suitable for cruising since it is only designed for tricks at skateparks. 

In comparison with other complete skateboards at the same price that were recommended by SkateAdvisors on physicsgre, this Powell complete skateboard offers the best trucks with two choices for players which are Independent trucks and Paris trucks. 

Independent trucks are great for speed riding, especially when coming together with Fireball Dragon bearings. On the other hand, Paris trucks are best for doing tricks in both skate park skating and street skating. 

The wheels have the same technical specifications as the CCS Complete Skateboard with a durometer of 99A and a size of 55mm. Hence, it is not suitable for rough terrains which contain a lot of obstacles like the street.
