PlantPal

An IoT Project by Blake McGill


Description: PlantPal is a plant irrigation and remote monitoring system that utilizes a suite of sensors to deliver relevant plant health data to the user. It also uses those sensors as inputs into a PWM control mechanism for a peristaltic water pump used to automatically water the plant based on soil moisture. The device hosts a web server that logs and displays curated sensor data for the user to track plant health with. PlantPal, aside from the water pump, can be powered via 5V from USB or Wall Adapter.
